A grotesque, bulbous glass vial swollen with lumpy, tumor-like crimson growths that pulse faintly under the deep maroon surface, as if something still stirs within. Wrapped in rough hemp twine at the neck and base, sealed with a simple cork, the bottle bears a tattered parchment label: Demon Descaler. A crude illustration shows a horned fiend being yanked from a screaming human silhouette by shadowy tendrils.
This viscous, tar-black elixir reeks faintly of brimstone and scorched flesh. When consumed—or more accurately, forced down—the potion initiates a brutal exorcism from within: it scorches and tears any possessing demon, imp, or lesser fiend from the drinker’s body over the course of agonizing minutes. The entity is expelled in a gout of smoke, ichor, and curses, leaving the user weakened but free of infernal control.
Warning: The process is excruciating—expect convulsions, burning veins, and temporary madness. It offers no protection from the demon’s parting vengeance once freed, and overuse may scar the soul permanently.
